Four-year term
The office of county attorney is in charge of prosecuting major crimes in the county and representing the county’s agencies’ legal affairs such as lawsuits and contract negotiations.
The county attorney also has to provide the leadership and skills to manage an office that oversees a staff of more than 100 lawyers.
