Gophers head coach Richard Pitino’s 2014 recruiting class is filling up quickly.

 

Junior college guard Carlos Morris committed to the University of Minnesota on Tuesday morning.

 

“Thankful for life today blessed to say i just committed to Minnesota University #Gopher Nation,” Morris said on his Twitter account.

 

The 6-feet-4-inch, three-star guard from Florida currently attends Chipola Junior College. 

 

Morris visited the Gophers in late September. He also visited  Seton Hall and the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

He joins Seattle forward Josh Martin and Georgia guard Nate Mason in Minnesota’s 2014 class.
