Search crews recovered the body of a young adult female from the Mississippi River near the 10th Avenue Bridge at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a press release from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office .
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner is responsible for identifying the victim. Police didn’t release any further information as of Wednesday night.
University of Minnesota student Jennifer Houle went missing Friday. Officials began searching the area near the bridge over the weekend. A video from a police surveillance camera showed Houle entering the river early Friday morning.
