Gophers freshman defensive back Michael Carter was arrested late Sunday night and charged with obstructing the legal process and minor consumption, according to a University of Minnesota police report. Carter and fellow freshman teammate Kenny Watkins were trying to âÄúpick a fight with two passersbyâÄù outside popular campus eatery Mesa Pizza, the report said.
