Bona, McMillen, Cameranesi honored by WCHA

Three members of the Gophers women's hockey team have been given WCHA weekly awards following last weekend's sweep over Ohio State.

Junior forward Rachael Bona was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week after recording six points on the weekend. Bona had a hat trick and added an assist in Minnesota's 9-2 win Saturday. She added two assists in Sunday's win.

Sophomore defenseman Milica McMillen was named the WCHA Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday. McMillen had two goals and three assists on the weekend. She had four points in Sunday's victory.

Forward Dani Cameranesi was named the WCHA Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. She had two goals and two assists in the sweep. 

Minnesota will return to action on Jan. 10-11 against Ohio State at Ridder Arena.
