Our grandparentâÄôs generation brought us international strength abroad and a leap in production at home. Our parentâÄôs generation fought for civil rights and personal freedoms. As young people today, we are faced with the task of continuing this legacy of progress into a new age where the nasty specter of climate change looms. The current Senate climate bill is an opportunity for America to finally cap greenhouse gas emissions, while supporting the creation of green jobs and heralding the emergence of the United Sates as a new leader in clean energy.
