Pre-game:

This is an important game for Minnesota. If they win, they will still be in contention to win the regular season WCHA title. Wisconsin beat Bemidji State earlier today 3-0.

The game is in St. Cloud and tomorrow’s game is back in Minneapolis with the seniors honored before the game.

Alyssa Grogan is in net for the Gophers, keeping the same goalie rotation that Minnesota has had all season. Unless Brad Frost decides differently, we can expect Jenny Lura in net tomorrow. The line up looks similar to the past weekends.

In other news, Gigi Marvin and Michelle Maunu are repeat WCHA scholar-athletes. They are the only two athletes from both the men’s and women’s teams to be honored. For this honor the athlete must have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale for the previous two semesters or three quarters, or may qualify if his or her overall GPA is at least 3.50 for all terms at his or her present institution.
