Minnetonka Police Thursday night arrested the man who led authorities on a chase that ended in an unsuccessful manhunt near the University on July 22 .
Grayson Lee Clevenger , 27, was booked into the Hennepin County Jail Thursday night and faces multiple felony charges, according to the county’s jail log.
Clevenger was released from custody Monday morning. Court appearances are yet to be determined.
Clevenger abandoned a stolen car near Fulton Street on July 22. The situation resulted in a door-to-door search with weapons drawn by Minneapolis police and other authorities.
The high-speed chase started in Burnsville and then made its way just past the Wisconsin state line before Clevenger turned around and headed for the campus area, according to Minnesota and Wisconsin state patrols.
Clevenger was a suspect in a burglary case, according to Burnsville police.
