Campus Atheists, Skeptics and Humanists will be welcoming everyone from all religious backgrounds to come and learn about atheists. We want to hear your questions and be able to answer them honestly. We want to clear up any misconceptions and myths about atheists that people may have.
We will have a panel consisting of an undergraduate student, a graduate student and professor and atheist blogger Paul Myers available to answer questions.
Myers is a biology professor at the University of Minnesota-Morris. His work is primarily developmental and evolutionary biology. Myers is an unequivocal critic of intelligent design, creationism and other forms of superstition, pseudoscience and irrationality. He is also known to the public for his popular blog, “Pharyngula.”
So please join us 7 p.m.-9 p.m. this Thursday in Amundson Hall, Room B75. We are looking forward to hearing all of your questions, and hopefully we can dispel those pesky myths about atheists.
