It’s partly sunny, breezy and in the 70s, with a 30 percent chance of thuderstorms. Sitting in a cafe, Elmo quickly scanned the weekend weather. Variable clouds with chances of showers and thunderstorms were predicted; highs in the middle 70s. “Good,” Elmo thought. “Finally I can use my favourite umbrella.” His mind filled with images of wet cobblestone and deep puddles. He imagined himself walking slowly, inhaling moist rainy air and holding on tightly to the handle of his beloved black umbrella. “For once, the sun-worshipping hordes will not bother me!” Elmo perked right up and skipped home.
