Mason crosses first at Jack’s Run

Minnesota graduate student Meghan Mason clocked a time of 18:39.7 to win the womenâÄôs race at JackâÄôs Run this Saturday at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights. Junior Kelly Wilson finished second in the event, which honors the late Gophers equipment manager Jack Johnson. St. PaulâÄôs Michael Stoick won the race in a time of 16:35.6. Proceeds from the race are split between the Jack Johnson Endowed Scholarship and the Angel Foundation of Minnesota. Both the Minnesota men and womenâÄôs teams return to action next weekend competing in the Big Ten Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich.
