Gubernatorial policies more impactful than presidential policies — so vote

The Daily Editorial BoardâÄôs call for young Minnesotans to vote Nov. 2 is exactly right. The impacts of laws passed by our governor are even more apparent in our day-to-day lives than those out in Washington, D.C.

Whether itâÄôs tuition hikes, rental rebates or equality for all Minnesotans, the governor of Minnesota has more of a say in our lives than the president of the United States. ThatâÄôs why we, at Get Up Minnesota, have pledged more than 38,000 young Minnesotans to vote on Nov. 2. There is simply too much at stake for young people to sit this election out. Check out our website at www.getup.mn to find resources on issues and voting to make sure your voice is heard.
