War protesters schedule walkout for noon today
Students Against War and other campus groups that had planned a walkout the day of an attack on Iraq will leave classes at noon today to protest on Northrop Mall. Because the war started during the University’s spring break, organizers decided to postpone the walkout and demonstrate against U.S. military action in Iraq on the first day of classes after break. Thousands of high school students walked out of classes last week.
