McCain takes West Virginia, but all may be for naught

McCain takes West Virginia, but Obama taking Ohio and New Mexico could have propelled him to the presidency. Obama currently has 200 electoral votes. To win the presidency, a candidate needs 270 electoral votes. If Obama takes the typically very democratic states of California (55 electoral votes), Washington (11), and Oregon (7), and also takes his home state of Hawaii (4), he will have 77 more electoral votes, giving him 277 and the victory. So, barring an upset on the west coast, Obama will probably become the next president. However, it’s not over until it’s over, so stay tuned. All information according to MSNBC.
