Former Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker was taken by the Denver Broncos No. 87 overall Friday night in the third round of the NFL Draft.
Scouts, Inc. rated Decker as the fifth receiver available in the 2010 draft.
Decker had 758 yards on 50 catches along with five touchdowns last season with the Gophers before tearing ligaments in his foot against Ohio State.
Decker finished his career as the Gophers’ all-time leading receiver and third all-time in touchdown receptions.
