Arise! Books & Resources Collective in Uptown was forced to close on May 15th of last spring. The volunteer-run space that touted its compilation of, “works of resistance,” has since refocused its efforts vis a vis the MARS Collective and Boneshaker Books.
MARS, or the MPLS Autonomous Radical Space, will be hosting a benefit at Memory Lanes TONIGHT to help support them acquire a physical property for their goods and services. The event is FREE (though there will most likely be donation requests), 21+, and there’s a show that starts at 10 p.m.
