Tomorrow, the University of Minnesota’s mortuary science program celebrates 100 years of existence. It began in 1908 as a six-week program, and it is now a four-year bachelor’s of science program. There will be a variety of events tomorrow, all of them listed here. The events tomorrow will be highlighted with speaker and poet Thomas Lynch speaking and signing books afterward. In the evening, there is a dinner and awards ceremony at the Campus Club in Coffman Memorial Union. Good luck getting in, though — you need to order a ticket beforehand, and tickets have already been sold out. Check Monday’s issue of the Daily for more information and a recap.
