The Beatles’ 1964 film, “A Hard Day’s Night,” will reappear in theatres this 4th of July weekend in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

Still from “A Hard Day’s Night”

The tongue-in-cheek comedy includes songs from the actual “A Hard Day’s Night” album, including the popular hits “She Loves You” and “Can’t Buy Me Love.” The songs are interwoven throughout the plot, in which they must escape crazed fans and deal with Paul’s grandfather’s trivial troublemaking, among other things.

The movie has  been digitally restored and the soundtrack has been remastered by Giles Martin (son of original producer, George Martin) to fit 5.1 sound systems.

The official trailer for the 2014 release can be found here.
