The meeting will be tonight at Van Cleve Park.

The University District Partnership Alliance Zoning and Planning Regulatory Review Task Force is holding a public meeting tonight that will address recommendations to improve the livability of the University of Minnesota and its surrounding neighborhoods. Principal city planner, Haila Maze, said the meeting will address many issues that concern the University District area including parking, occupancy, and inspections. The meeting is about how things could work better in the neighborhoods around the University, Maze said. Maze said the meeting will not necessarily discuss issues that particularly affect the University of MinnesotaâÄôs campus but it will address issues about its surroundings. The meeting will be held at Van Cleve Park and it will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Check on WednesdayâÄôs Daily for more.
