Cotton candy, horse manure and country music made Elmo’s weekend trip to the rodeo a huge success. “Cowboys are so cool,” Elmo thought.”Maybe I should try to cut a calf and ride a bull just like the olden days out on the trail.” He decided to hold off for a couple of weeks, though, because when he held his finger in the wind he said, “It’s cloudy with a few flurries and a high in the lower 20s; low from 6 above to 11 tonight. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy with a high in the upper teens to near 20.” At least Elmo has his gee-tar and his boots to keep him warm.
