Former Gophers relief pitcher Billy Soule has signed with the St. Paul Saints.

Soule recently finished his senior season at Minnesota. He recorded nine saves and a 2.67 earned run average in 2013.

The Saints (14-11) currently sit atop the North Division standings by .5 games in the American Association of Independent Baseball.
