Gophers Head Football Coach Jerry Kill will host a meet-and-greet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday on the Northrop Auditorium Plaza, the Minnesota Athletics Department announced Thursday.
Following the meet-and-greet, Kill will attend the Party on the Plaza, which starts at 11:30 a.m. in front of Coffman Memorial Union, the release said.
The rally will feature a performance by the local band Whosah, the University of Minnesota Marching Band and the spirit squad, prizes, games and remarks from Kill and Athletics Director Norwood Teague, according to a Student Unions and Activities release.
The Gophers play Western Illinois at 11 a.m. Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium.
