Twisting and twirling, members of the Ballroom Dance Club showed off months of preparation at their annual fall dance Friday at McNamara Alumni Center. The Kalogerson Variety Band provided music for the masquerade-themed event, which was open to everyone.
The Ballroom Dance Club is composed of 145 members and practices Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the semester at Bierman Gym. Students, faculty and staff members can join the club and come to unlimited practices for $40 and the public can for $105. Practices are offered at several levels for dances such as the waltz, fox-trot, cha-cha, swing and tango. Steve Lee, one of 12 founding members of the club, leads practice with the aid of two assistants.
