The Gophers women’s hockey team gets set to take on the University of Manitoba in a 2:00 exhibition game at Ridder Arena today. 

The Gophers are coming off of a 26-9-5 season that ended in a co-WCHA regular season championship as well as a trip to the Frozen Four.  The team returns four of its five top scorers including senior Emily West and All-American defenseman Anne Schleper. 

The team was honored during the Gophers football game yesterday for their 2009-10 season.
