Already the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s preseason player of the year, Minnesota men’s hockey’s Jordan Schroeder has another preseason accolade to add to his total: preseason All-American.

College Hockey News named Schroeder to its preseason All-American team, and the sophomore is the only underclassmen to make the six-member preseason team.

The other preseason All-American from the WCHA conference is North Dakota’s Chay Genoway. Schroeder and Genoway are joined on the team by Princeton senior goaltender Zane Kalemba, Michigan junior forward Louie Caporusso, Colgate senior forward David McIntyre and Notre Dame senior defenseman Ian Cole.
