Minnesta defense still in limbo with Theret and Campbell day-to-day

Defensive players Lee Campbell and Kyle Theret are both âÄúday-to-day,âÄù Head Coach Tim Brewster said Tuesday. Both suffered sprained ankles against Wisconsin and Brewster said neither would practice fully on Tuesday. âÄúWe could have them both, or we could not have either one on Saturday,âÄù Brewster said. âÄúItâÄôs just a matter of how they progress throughout the week.âÄù Campbell, a senior, moved to linebacker this season after playing on the defensive line last year and leads the team in total tackles (71) and is second in sacks (4) . Theret, a sophomore, leads all defensive backs in tackles (63) and is second on the team interceptions (3).
