Former Gophers cross country All-Americans Anotnio Vega and Andrew Carlson finished second and third, respectively, for Team USA a the 2010 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships last weekend in Nanning, China.
Vega was 23rd overall and was an All-American at Minnesota in 2005. Carlson, All-America in 2002 and 2004, finished 39th overall.
