A student was robbed Thursday night in the Stadium Village neighborhood near campus, according to a campus-wide alert.
The robbery happened near the intersection of 25th Avenue Southeast and Delaware Street Southeast. The suspect punched the victim before stealing a bag of groceries, according to the alert.
The SAFE-U alert is the third involving a robbery this month. Last Thursday, an attempted robbery was reported on campus near Nicholson and Eddy Hall. On Sunday, another attempted robbery was reported in Stadium Village near Harvard Street Southeast and Delaware Street Southeast. The three male suspects were wearing face masks, and one of them wielded a handgun.
