Carlson School names new associate dean for undergrad program

Mary Maus Kosir will become the Carlson School of Management’s undergraduate program associate dean Jan. 15.

Kosir is currently director of the school’s international programs.

In her new position, Kosir will work to increase the business school’s undergraduate enrollment by 50 percent in the next five years and plan a new classroom facility.

Kosir, 36, is being promoted from the international programs office where she has worked for nine years and has been director since 2001.

Carlson School spokeswoman Catherine Peloquin said most applicants for the position were University employees.

The associate dean position was vacated by Jerry Rinehart, who is now the University’s associate vice provost for student affairs.
