Be bold, but be polite

Bill Hellriegel

The Minnesota Daily cartoonist should not use derogatory terms or express his negative stereotypes or prejudices about European Americans, however much he might dislike Rush Limbaugh. These slurs have no place in a respectable publication. Expressing such ideas is despicable as well as cowardly, because making such statements incurs no risk whatsoever. YouâÄôre aware that normally anyone with the courage to speak will applaud you. Say something that requires some backbone instead of pretending that youâÄôre making a bold statement.
