Master Plan open forums to start Monday

Open forums will be held this week concerning the University of MinnesotaâÄôs Master Plan, which will dictate future capital projects and land use over the next ten years on the Twin Cities campus. Capital Planning and Project Management has held open forums over the last two years to discuss and update the Master Plan. Currently, active Master Plan projects include the Bell Museum of Natural History and the TCF Bank Stadium, and previous projects have included the stabilization of Folwell HallâÄôs exterior and the Scholars Walk. The sessions will provide brief presentations, as well as open discussion for the University community. Open forums will be held on West Bank, East Bank, and Van Cleve Park. Capital Planning and Project Management will present the Master Plan to the Board of Regents over the next two months. The first open forum will be held at Cowles Auditorium in Humphrey Center on Monday, Feb. 2nd from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
