Minnesota volleyball falls to Ohio State in three sets

The road woes continue for the No. 7 Gophers volleyball team as they fell Saturday night to Ohio State 3-0 by scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 25-15.

The Gophers had trouble scoring points all through match as they were outhit by the Buckeyes .294 to .170.  Ohio State also had 45 kills to Minnesota’s 33.

Junior Lauren Gibbemeyer led the way for Minnesota with 12 kills and a pair of blocks. Junior Hailey Cowles and sophomore Ariana Filho each had with six kills.  Senior Taylor Carico finished the match with 31 assists and five digs.
