Gov.-elect Jesse Ventura will meet with University officials today as part of his tour of state agencies.
The visit marks Ventura’s first meeting with University officials on their home ground.
Ventura will have an informal introductory meeting with University President Mark Yudof, Board of Regents Chairman William Hogan II and other University officials at a reception in Burton Hall at 8 a.m. today.
The group will walk through campus visiting the Mall, the new Basic Sciences and Biomedical Engineering building and the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum.
After the tour, Ventura will meet with University officials in a closed-door meeting.
