Elmo looked at the stove in disgust as he realized that he was using all four burners. He only had one more ingredient to get ready for his potion and he needed heat, so he would have to be creative. With temperatures soaring into the low 50s on Monday, with mostly sunny skies, he decided that maybe it would be warm enough outside. He would have to finish it before the temperature dropped on Tuesday to the middle 40s with mostly cloudy skies. Elmo gazed across the table at the picture of Elma propped up in the chair. He hoped that his love potion, coupled with the happiness of spring would be enough to win her over.
