Stop bickering

This is in response to any article expressing views on the Israeli-Palestine conflict. I am tired of the back and forth retaliation.

Some say there is no better way to get your point across than rebutting the points of the opposing view. It gets old to hear: “This person was wrong about that” and: “That person was wrong about this.” What is an outsider supposed to make of this?

People believe what they read, but when all they read is people correcting each other there is no way to determine the facts. So in reality, the articles are useless except to those who write them.

What we bicker about day after day through opinion articles is irrelevant to what is actually going on in the Middle East. People are dying, afraid and unable to truly live a normal life.

Yet, here we are, name calling and accusing people of misrepresenting the truth. Is this really necessary when there is more to be done about the real issues?

Instead of debating back and forth about who is right and who is wrong, decide for yourself what you believe and work toward making yourself better before you accuse someone else of being incompetent.

It is time to wake up and do something truly meaningful. Support your views by making good things happen not by trying to make others gasp and shock at your accusations. It takes real chutzpah to make a difference in the world. Try it.
