A suspect has been detained Monday in a shooting at an Oakland Christian university that has left five people dead, the Associated Press reported. 

Law enforcement told the AP that at least five people died after the morning shooting at Oikos University. 

Four victims were checked into the Highland Hospital for treatment, according to the AP.
