The No. 6 Gophers Volleyball team fell in straight sets on Friday night to No. 10 Illinois by scores of 25-19, 27-25 and 25-22.
Despite the loss, the Gophers had four players finish with double digit kills. Junior Brook Dieter led the way with 13 kills, sophomore Ariana Filho had 11, and junior Lauren Gibbemeyer and freshman Tabitha Love each finished with 10 kills.
The Gophers continue their road trip on Saturday as they head to Northwestern. The match will get underway at 7 p.m.
