For the second time this season, Gophers soccer freshman Taylor Uhl has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Uhl had a strong performance this weekend, dishing out two assists in the Gophers’ win over Indiana and scoring the team’s only goal in Sunday’s loss to Purdue.
With 10 goals and 23 points on the year, Uhl sits sixth all time in Minnesota soccer history in points by a freshman and fourth in goals. She leads Minnesota in both points and goals this year.
Uhl won Freshman of the Week honors on Aug. 22, and fellow freshman Becca Roberts won the award on Oct. 20.
