I want to thank Sens. Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., for voting against a bill (H.R. 1) that attacked critical protections for clean air and clean water.

Students would only suffer from an increase in pollution if this bill were passed. The bill would have affected the clean air and water acts and the drinking water of 978,928 people in Minnesota, including students.

Thankfully, Franken and Klobuchar will stand up for my health and the health of my family and friends against these types of attacks.
