A White House official announced that President Barack Obama will visit Minneapolis on Monday, the Star Tribune posted in a blog.  

No further details have been released regarding the president's visit.

Obama last visited Minnesota in June, when he attended fundraisers and toured Golden Valley's Honeywell Plant.
