University will refund ticketholders

The University will refund football tickets for those who can’t attend the rescheduled game against Illinois and the Homecoming game against Northwestern.

Ticket holders should send tickets to the Athletics Ticket Office, Mariucci Arena, 4 Oak St. S.E., Minneapolis, 55455 if they want a refund. All tickets must be postmarked by Friday, Sept. 27.

Not all Homecoming activities have been rescheduled, but the coronation and bonfire will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Karen Lyons, assistant director of the Twin Cities Student Unions, said most activities will not be impacted by the game change.

“Homecoming is not just on Saturday, it’s a week-long celebration,” Lyons said.

For more information on ticket refunds, call (612) 624-8080 or (800) U-GOPHER. The revised Homecoming activities calendar is available on the web at www.homecoming.umn.edu.
