The Big Ten has released the men’s and women’s basketball conference schedules for the upcoming 2011 season. All of the men’s conference games will be aired on the Big Ten Network with nine of the women’s conference games being aired on BTN.

The men’s first matchup will mark the beginning of the Big Ten regular season, which takes place 7:30 p.m. Dec. 27 at Illinois. The Big Ten Network will work with CBS, ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN U to air all men’s games, which marks the fifth consecutive year all men’s games will be nationally televised. Many non-conference women’s games will be aired on BTN with a select group of conference games to be streamed on their website. 

The men’s and women’s Big Ten tournaments will feature 11 games for the first time in history, since Nebraska joined the conference this year. Those games, starting in early March, will all be televised on BTN, ESPN or CBS.
