Winner of its fourth Grapevine Award this year, the Village Wok at 610 Washington Ave. S.E. has captured stomachs across campus. Voted the Best Asian Restaurant this year, the Wok is holding its own packed in among Washington Avenue eateries.
Open from 11 to 2 a.m., the Wok serves up more than 340 appetizers and specialty plates. In addition to beef, chicken and pork, seafood items ranging from shrimp to squid await the watering mouths of University students and staff.
The Wok offers nearly 30 vegetarian dishes made of bean curds, mock-duck or vegetables. And for late-night diners, there is a special menu with meals available until 2 a.m.
Customers can dine in or take out and for those University community members who don’t have time to dine in, the Village Wok Express next door offers quick, cash-only meals from a shorter menu.
