Voter integrity isn’t optional

I was at the Republican caucus last night when I overheard someone admit that he had already voted at the Democratic caucus and that he was now planning to vote in the GOP. He even prefaced this fact with, “Can I tell you a secret?”

It makes me sick to my stomach that someone would have absolutely no respect for our voting rights. He obviously knew it was against the rules, but he thought he was above them.

I know this may seem like a very small incident, but I just can’t shake how unsettling it was to witness. It happened right in front of me, and I did nothing to stop it, nor did I know what I could do. I wish so badly that I had confronted the guy and reminded him of the value of voter integrity.
