Many apartment leases around campus began on the first of September, but with classes starting just three days later, tons of students didn't have the time to deck out their new cribs.
Now that school is in full swing and we've nested a bit, it's time to give our digs some style. Tired of the same old Ikea furniture and your parents' hand-me-downs? Check out the Shakopee Junk Bonanza this weekend. This three day extravaganza (the 13th 14th and 15th) will feature over 100 different vendors selling vintage goods, antiques, and some straight-up weird junk. Everything being sold this weekend will be one-of-a-kind, so you won't have to worry about the apartment down the hall having the same antique picture frames, or neat refurbished nightstand.
