Junior forward Rachael Bona was named WCHA Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday after leading the Gophers offensively last weekend against Colgate. Bona scored four goals and had three assists in the two games.
On Friday, Minnesota and Colgate entered the third period tied 1-1 before Bona scored two goals to put the game out of reach. She followed that up with a two goal, two assist game in Saturday's 8-3 win.
Bona and No. 1 Minnesota will host No. 4 Wisconsin this weekend at Ridder Arena.
