Four University of Minnesota students were the victims of robberies and physical assaults Thursday night from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Friday morning in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood. University police chief Greg Hestness sent out a public safety alert Friday warning students of the suspects, who are described as two black males in their late teens to early twenties. According to the alert, the men punched and physically assaulted the students, who were not identified. The students were walking through the neighborhood at the time of the attacks; the suspects took wallets, credit cards, cash and cell phones.
