College Kitchen: The Great Debate

Hosting a debate watching party and unsure of your guests' political affiliations? Follow this recipe for easy nonpartisan appetizers, and you'll definitely please both sides of the aisle.

RomBama Bites

Because Wednesday's debate focuses on domestic policy, these apps are based on the red, white and blue. For the red, you'll need a can of your favorite spaghetti sauce. The white will be represented by grated mozzarella cheese. For your blue, pick up some blue-corn tortilla chips. In a single layer, spread your chips on a cookie sheet. Using a spoon, dole out some sauce over the chips. Top with an American sized portion of cheese. If you think your debate party is going to get a little wild, throw a couple jalapenos on top to spice things up. Pop your debate watchin' nachos into the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Enjoy with lively political discussion.
