There are few places on campus where students are tested but not required to study. Boynton Health Service is one of them.
Students can get everything from their retinas to their genitals examined for free. Boynton offers more than 15 maintenance and preventative services at no additional cost to students after they pay the mandatory student services fees.
Nestled behind Coffman Union on the East Bank campus and in Coffey Hall on the St. Paul campus, Boynton clinics address patient needs by appointment or on a walk-in basis. The clinics also provide urgent care.
In addition to providing medical care, Boynton offers a variety of health education and public health programs and services.
Several examples of Boynton’s free services are routine clinic visits, vision tests, pregnancy testing and counseling, STD and HIV testing, annual exams for women and sports medicine clinic visits. Boynton also offers dental exams, massage therapy and DWI/underage drinking classes at reduced costs.
For more information, call the general information line at 625-8400; to make an appointment call 625-3222. If your hand is falling off call 911.
