As Elmo sat, he grew wary of his position in life. He longed for a brand new wave of insight to come sweep him into a wonderland of pure joy. “There is no chance of that happening” he told himself. To balance that thought, he also told himself that there is a good chance of morning showers today along with mostly cloudy skies and gusty wind in the afternoon. Highs near 50 dropping to 35. On Thursday there will be a good chance of rain, with partly sunny skies and highs in the 40s. “Ahh, yes.” Elmo thought, “Now I shall be wary in cold, wet weather.” With this, he shed a tear and fell to slumber.
